Hey there! I'm Kayleigh, an artist based in Cardiff, South Wales, U.K.

I've been interested in art for as long as I can remember. At the age of 5 (or maybe 6?), I entered into a colouring competition with Maynards Bassetts' Jelly Babies and finished 1st place! I received a gift card for Toys "R" Us and purchased some new Barbie dolls (and a Barbie jet plane) for my collection. But my pencil handiwork did not stop there, and I've been drawing, colouring, and painting my way through life ever since.

My background lies in Psychology. I graduated with a BSc degree in Psychology and Criminology from Swansea University in 2018. In September 2022, I started my studies for a MA in Art Psychotherapy at the University of South Wales; with the expectation of graduating in 2025 to further my career as an Art Psychotherapist.

Another hobby of mine is bodypainting. I've always felt that my love of makeup and body art has derived from the amount of hours I spent as a child doodling in notebooks and sketchpads. It's almost as though my passion for artistry has manifested its way into finding new canvases to work with, which would include painting my skin instead.
